Albert & Holmes has joined the Instagram and Houzz families, and we look forward to sharing, from time to time, our ideas, inspirations, and interesting projects with those that follow. Whether documenting the progress, and processes, of a year-long project, or capturing the stunning views from some of the incredible places we are so fortunate to work, we hope to keep our new family engaged, and at the same time, inspiring and sparking new ideas.

Making your life easier.
I know a lot of you know us as a team of Interior Artists, and of course we are that, but we see ourselves in business to make your life easier.
As someone who works intimately with Interior Designers and Architects, we see the complexity you deal with on a daily basis, the organized chaos, the many moving parts, and all the resources you have to manage daily, in the building and furnishing of an elaborate residential project.
A Study in Whites
The world of interiors is an ever evolving landscape. One has only to peruse the myriad Interior Design magazines to discover the many magnificent ways Designers are elevating the home environment, marrying simplicity with elegance.
One phenomenon that has risen from this move toward clean and elegant simplicity, is the ever-arcing use of whites. As noted in the Mansion section of the July 22nd Wall Street Journal article, Interior Designers and Real Estate Developers have picked white as their top color for 2016.
Successful Hamptons Show
The artwork of Mark and Lisa was well represented at the Hamptons Contemporary Show. With a mixture of contemporary, as well as traditional landscapes, the paintings were up front and center, and well received. Shown left, is Lisa’s 4′ x 9′ painting, behind a 15′ bar produced by Clive Christian of England, seen here at Architectural Digest’s opening night gala. Mark’s paintings, shown on the right, are keeping good company next to an original Eric Fischl.
Hamptons Contemporary
At the Hamptons Contemporary in Southhampton, this year, many thousands attended to view and purchase from displays of some of the most exclusive products in the world, from Hermes and Clive Christian, to Paris Ceramics and St. Loui Crystal. Lisa and Mark were invited to display some their artwork in the LMC Design Group space that also hosted the Architectural Digest Opening Gala.
Lisa Jetting off for Color Consultation
One of the many services we offer is Color Consultation. As our team specializes in color, Albert & Holmes is called upon for selecting colors for the interiors of residences and commercial building exteriors. We have consulted in many upscale residences throughout the country. We can select from existing colors, or have our team mix custom colors on site.
Here, Lisa is being flown out of state for a consultation in a new residence.
Painting in the Studio
Albert & Holmes employs a vast array of talented and award-winning artists, some of which have been a part of the Albert & Holmes team for 25 years. Our artists have old-masters skills and are comfortable working in any style.
Lending our expertise
We lend our expertise where we can. Our lead Artist, Joshua Benz, was recently flown up by our client to their new vacation residence in Lake Tahoe. He is seen here teaching the crew of a local decorative paint company how to execute a glaze finish on some of their interior surfaces. He will be there long enough to make sure they have it down, and then his work there will be done.
